Last week on Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, we met Johnny Rock's (Denis Leary) mommy, and boy can she give "Mommy Dearest" a run for her money. The band goes back to the 70s for his mom's wedding - cue Gigi and Ava (Liz Gillies and Elaine Hendricks) in authentic garb, breathlessly singing 70s disco. Mom (guest star Kelly Bishop) never got over getting tossed for the role of Mary Poppins in favor of "Supercalifragilisticjuliefriggingandrews." She is all about herself, but the episode did highlight how awesome Johnny's dad is at saxophone, at caring about his kid, and providing insight. Rehab and Bam Bam (John Ales and Robert Kelly) end the show with a wtf? moment: Rehab brings back a 170-year old woman while on Quaaludes (he's a method musician), and Bam Bam gives a hand job to a guy for delicious ribs [...]
